From the looks of it, Louis Vuitton will be commissioning a selection of graffiti artists in tribute of their Stephen Sprouse campaign. News broke out of Reyes (Seventh Letter Crew) involvement with the San Francisco store yesterday and now we get a look at some work done by old school writer Skam on LV’s Toronto retail location. Select artists are given creative control over the design, branding and packaging of a DC shoe. DC’s Artist Projects™ includes models designed by Shepard Fairey, Kaws, Dave Kinsey, Eric So, Phil Frost, Thomas Campbell, Arkitip/Evan Hecox, Andy Howell, Michael Leon, Methamphibian, SSUR, Natas Kaupas, André and Aaron Rose. Official gives us a look at their “Neu Mesh” snap-back adjustable hats for Spring/Summer 2009. Three styles are featured in their mesh-back department this season. A very pertinent “micro-lumberjack” in a cyan/black colorway with a tonal black/black checker visor and a cyan/Black check undervisor.
The second style debuts the “eratic chaing gaing” pattern with a black/black checker visor and black/gold checker undervisor. Post-mod militia inspired, the “8 bit check-bit” pattern in an army colorway completes the delivery of Neu Mesh snap-backs from Official to finer retailers worldwide. The “Neu Mesh” will be available March 15th.
