Much touted graffiti artist Banksy has apparently painted his portrait on the side of an office building in Shoreditch, East London. This piece carries his obsessional rat wearing necklace graffiti that holds a placard showing his face. No one is sure how he looks, but based on pics from a 2004 graffiti-spraying event in Jamaica, it is believed that this is Banksy’s photograph.
California’s favorite skate brand, Vans, recently partnered up with independent artist Parra to produce a limited version of the Era. The vulcanized lowtop draws inspiration from a number of sources, and features Parra’s cursive logo stitched into the tongue to go along with its white/orange/pink/robin’s egg blue color scheme. The term, “Don’t Forget to Skate in These!” is printed onto the model’s sockliner, a byword I wouldn’t mind being attached to all collaborative skate shoes. The Parra x Vans Era will hit retailers early this summer, so stay on the lookout.
fter two previous successful collaborations, Casio’s G-Shock and Lifted Research Group (LRG) are back for the third round of collaborative work– the DW-6900LRG-2 model. This new limited edition G-Shock features the classic G-Shock look and functions such as shock resistance, 200M water resistance, 12/24 hour time format, EL back light after glow, 1/100 second timer and alarm…
The new design element incorporated into this collaboration is that the classic DW-6900 is drenched in 2009’s hottest Obama blue. According to Jonas Bevacqua, Co-Founder and Creative Director, LRG, “[Obama blue] is a color that symbolizes hope. LRG, G-Shock and Obama are all a sign of the times, pun intended,”
The new collaborative timepiece to anchor us in hopeful times will be available this month at select retailers such as Karmaloop, Bloomingdales, Macys and G-Shock.
TRUE SF designed two exclusive fitted caps produced by New Era. The fitted caps come in two different colorways: tiffany/black and grey/neon yellow with both caps featuring the TRUE logo on the front panel. The tiffany/black colorway is my favorite out of the two. They are available now, exclusively at TRUE SF flagship store.

It seems Nike will continue to use movies as inspiration to some of its classic sneakers. Check out this Nike Big Nike that draws inspiration from the recently released X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie.
