Drawing inspiration from the ‘Vinyl Killer’, the world’s smallest LP player, Korean designer Rhea Jeong has come up with a self-running record player that tales the form of a red sphere. Dubbed “Void,” the LP player makes use of a carrier and dock, which comes equipped with a magnetic and auto-calibrating control system to toss the LP up in the air. Other than the red sphere, the record player also incorporates an amplifier, speaker and a needle that spins around the record. Powered by a built-in motor, the Void electronically manages the levitation that you may control through the touch sensors on the front base, infusing the music with a new life.
