Primitive x Oakley Frogskins ‘Ride the Lightning’
If you´re a fan of Metallica and of sunglasse, you´re really going to like this! Paul Rodriguez’s shop, Primitive in Encino has teamed up with Oakley to put out a limited edition pair of Frogskins. They were inspired by Metallica’s 1984 Ride the Lightning album cover, and feature a gradient colourway, fading from black to purple, to midnight blue, and eventually a clear finish. They come with a silk-screened bag, and two sets of arms, each branded with Primitive’s P logo. A matching tee was also designed for the release. The sunglasses are limited to 70, of which 50 will be made available tomorrow at 5pm in-store. The remaining 20 will go on sale through Primitive’s online shop the following day at noon PST. In just more than a week, arguably the greatest non-US Jordan release will occur. The Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” has hit the web through a few sources for the past couple of weeks, and in just a little more than a week you can get one too, at the global release date of Saturday, August 8th.

A few days ago we reported already on the Air Jordan 1 Hi Strap Black/Orion-Blue Nylon. Here´s the second colorway with Black/Volt-Yellow. Similar to the Air Jordan 1 Black Orion-Blue, this particular shoe contains an all-black base done up in black leather. However, it does possess different attributes than the black-orion blue colorway. Besides the volt-colored midsole and removable strap, this Air Jordan 1 also owns a black patent leather swoosh. The new and spectacular G.I.Joe: Rise of the Cobra movie is just around the corner and so Nike comes up with this Nike Zoom Sharkalaid. It is part of the G.I. Joe pack and this particular shoe is modeled after the Storm Shadow character from the movie. The shoe features a predominantly white upper with black accents and black straps, with a grey base.
