Nike Blazer Black Cherrywood
Nike showed up with something real artistic. The dynamic illustrations really pop due to the punchy reds, pinks, and purples used, but the white highlights and black toebox, midsole, and swoosh keep the kicks from being too psychotic.

UNDRCRWN and watchmaker NOOKA have collaborated on this very odd-looking timepiece. The ZENV watch features multicolored stripes all around the polyurethane band, with a black, square-shaped display. The UNDRCRWN x NOOKA Koolaboration ZENV Watch features a very strange way of telling the time, and anyone wearing this in public is sure to get some attention. Working on an ultra-short timeline, Frank Liew and the Qubic crew were able to bang out a great installation on behalf of Nike Sportswear for their LIVESTRONG collection. In addition to showing the obvious products associated with the project, the installation also gave a chance to showcase other aspects of the project including the bicycle and Tour de France components due to Lance Armstrong’s involvement. A profile map of the gruelling Tour de France Stage 20 (Montelimar – Mont Vernoux) as well as a deconstructed yellow bike complete the installation. A cancer-survivor himself, Lance Armstrong has spent a large amount of his time raising funds for cancer awareness and research and with Nike Sportswear on-board, the two parties will see all proceeds from the sales of the collection benefit the LIVESTRONG foundation.

Real luxury doesn´t have to look loud and outlandish. The far better way is this of simple elegance. Luxury design houses have been branching out into casual footwear recently. And now Gucci comes around with the more subtle luxury I mentioned. Gucci’s high-top numbers are made with quality high grain leather and are relatively unembellished except for the brand’s signature green/red/green stripes running down the side panel in canvas. The Gucci logo in black leather is stitched on to the tongue pad for a little extra brand recognition, and the only other detail that stands out is a decorative large lace eyelet. All in all, this is a pair of sturdy and classic high-tops for those who seek classic luxury but are also looking to kick back for something casual.
