Sony PS Pictogram x PORTER – PSP Go Leather Case

After a brief hiatus, Sony recently revived its accessories project, the Sony PS Pictogram, to coincide with new Sony PSP Go mobile gaming console. Produced by PORTER, the new carrying case is discreet and subdue with only visible logo found within the inner overlap enclosure. The all-premium leather design could easily pass as a case for BlackBerry or cellphone. Making it a great tool for any “salary man” to sneak in a few hours of game time between meetings. The Sony PS Pictogram x PORTER – Leather Case for Sony PSP Go is now available for pre-order at ZOZOMESSE chapter of Japan’s ZOZOTOWN shopping network. The original recognizable colorblocking has been applied to remain true to it’s strong heritage and the main focus has been directed at the choice of durable materials: purple denim, canvas and nubuck ensure a more street-friendly version to carry on footwear tradition in a proud fashion. One of New Balances latest releases, the CM996M BT, pops because of its subtle features. Speaking generally the sneaker comes in two colorways beeing Beige/Brown/Pink and Black/Blue/Pink. Both colorways of the CM996M BT include details like the two color midsole and laces, cross stitching at the toebox, wooden pearls at the bottom of the lace section as well as the multicolored stitchings at the N logo. Also the sneaker has the native american theme feel that we have seen already on other sneaker releases recently. The theme is captured not only by the colors chosen but with the pattern on the tongue tag as well as on the back. Last but not least the material mix is worth the mention. For the upper New Balance used durable synthetics at the toebox, suede for the logo, nubuck, leather around the laces and full grain leather as well as canvas at the back. The New Balance CM996M BT is now available in the two colorways at select New Balance retailers like Atmos. Follow the jump for more pics!

Japanese retailer Kinetics worked with DJ Muro on a series of product. The collaborative collection consists of a Timberland 7 Eyelet Boot, New Era Ear Flap Cap, as well as a hoodie and a longsleeve t-shirt. All pieces of the collection feature heavy plaid patterns, including the Timberland boot. The collection will be released on November 7th. The 2009 NBA Champs Los Angeles Lakers received their championship rings the other day, and they are $30,000 worth of diamonds and gold and goodness. They were made by Jason of Beverly Hills, and it was the 15th time LA has won. Kobe, DFish and owner Jerry Buss all gave their input into the amazing rings and requested 14 diamonds, and the center trophy which would be number 15. Made in promotion of Screen Gems’ upcoming film, Armored, starring the likes of Jean Reno, Laurence Fishburne and Matt Dillon, Mr. Cartoon and SA Studios created a one-of-a-kind armored truck in Cartoon’s signature Angeleno style. Aside the exterior art, the internationally recognized tattoo artist took it up a notch with a decked out interior. Look for the film to release nationwide on December 4th. More pics after the jump.

The Parisian dye house created an wide array of custom colored sneakers using washed silk, leathers, and mineral flakes for an athletic look. The Air Flytop and Tennis Classic both get ample play alongside other styles, while each pair sports contrast colored laces, reptile applications and more. The launch of this collection takes place Thursday, November 5th at 180g.

It’s almost Halloween, and Puma is releasing this Halloween 2009 sneaker pack – no tricks, just treats here. This pack ships with two different Puma sneakers, the ‘Basket Boo’, and ‘Mr. Bones Mid’. Basket Boo is white leather with some nice green slime details around the eyelets, and super creepy ghosts on the soles and heel. Mr. Bones Mid is grey with green details, and some freaky Frankenstein-style stitching on the outside. It’s only a few days until thriller night, so you had better get a pair of fly kicks now! Give the opportunity for a sneaker head to raid anyone’s closet, we are pretty certain there is no better person’s house to ransack than Nike’s Global Energy Marketing Director, Fraser Cooke. The Selby visited Cooke at his home in Tokyo and photographed the market maker in his elements– surrounded by Nike kicks and all things quirky and cool. Check out pictures of a brown crocodile leather AF1 stored away safely in a special black too-box-like receptacle and all sorts of fun memorabilia strewn about his otherwise minimal space.
