Palace Skateboards Fall/Winter 2009 Collection

Palace Skateboards is a new London based brand who’s aim is to produce well-designed skate goods. To celebrate their launch, Slam City Skates and the local PWBC skate gang have teamed up to create a limited first series of boards with imagery revolving heavily around the triangle. With pro skater Olly Todd on the team, and designs by artists such as Fergadelic and Will Bankhead, Palace is certainly one to watch. More looks at the Palace Skateboards collection after the jump.

Frequent Nike collaborator DJ Clark Kent has hooked up with Jordan Brand on the label’s favorite hybrid, the Jordan Spizike. Clark Kent chose nubuck and leather to create the sneaker. The Jordan Spizike x DJ Clark Kent comes in an upper in layers of black, white and red. The black elements of the kicks are accented with red and blue on the heel tab, tongue and inner lining. The kicks are expected to release as part of the Air Jordan Spring 2010 sneaker collection. For more pics, follow the jump.

An ode to the famous painting by the great Andy Warhol of Marilyn Monroe are the new iteration of the Nike Air Max 90’s. A special edition, made with a womenly bias, the Monroe Air Max 90’s are certainly a colorful shoe boasting the Warhol painting in vibrant colors around the entire midsole aganist the white body of the sneaker. The black laces and mesh portions of the sneaker provide a good, stark contrast to make the painting pop. Certainly a unique new spin on a timeless classic. More pics after the jump.

The delivery includes the standard California Culture design references and more specifically, the City of Angels and the City by the Bay – for obvious reasons. Highlights from this collection include two collaborative tees designed with LA-based artist Phil Lumbang, who brought his trademark bear character to the table. Supra x Deathwish has just released some sneakers, along with apparels in a collaboration which is set to release this Holiday 2009. The collaboration introduces us to three sneakers, all which includes a suede upper. The sneakers in available in the collaboration is the EE VEga, Dixons and the JG Thunder. The HUGO perfume has been released in 1995 and comes now in the new Rashid bottle, which is limited to 1000 pieces worldwide. The bottle will be available at 100 retailers, including Selfridges (London), Sephora (Paris), Harvey Nichols (Dubai) and the Gallerie Lafayette in Berlin from next week already, where the launch event is also be taking place.
