Nike WMNS Dunk High “Amor” | Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is a holiday that never goes unlooked by Nike Sportswear, here we see one of the releases scheduled to drop for 2011. The Dunk High comes in a white canvas build covered with illustrations inspired by love from baby cupids to love birds. The kicks feature black as a contrast color with red on the insole and tongue tag, which reads “Amor” (Latin for love). Look for a quickstrike release during the run-up to V-Day. Fresh Footage directly from Bread & Butter fair! We present to you the new models by famous designer Jeremy Scott. Kanye West, Beyonce, Lady Gaga are only a few names you can call when it comes to his designs. Beside the winged sneakers, we have here a more raffish model. The shoe is completely covered in plush with a big teddy bear in place of the tongue. These are definitely the first shoes you can´t only wear but also cuddle with.  We don´t have a concrete release date yet, but we´ll let you know as soon as there is one out.

ADIDAS WMNS Nizza “Tassels” x Jeremy Scott

Last week we previewed a portion of the Adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott Spring / Summer 2010 Collection. The kicks feature four tassels, which hang from the sneaker´s collar performing the sneakers a very unique look.  Differently than the tassels, the kicks are standard look in blue with white contrasting elements. World’s Tallest Teen Basketball Player

Call her Air Anderson.

This up-and-coming New Jersey high school basketball player is only 16, but Marvadene Anderson is already a giant on the court. At just under 6-foot-11 – and still growing – she’s the world’s tallest teenage girl.

The Jamaican-born hoopster, who could tower over legendary ballplayers like Michael Jordan (6-6) and LeBron James (6-8), was the highest-scoring “netball” player in her country – a sport similar to basketball.
