With the Adidas ZX 8000 “Emperor”, Adidas reached the dark side of their Star Wars collection. True to the Emperor’s character, this shoe possesses black nubuck and mesh blend to create up the upper with tan inner liner. The Adidas three stripes appear in teal though Palpatine’s energy is being reminded by the teal energy bolts that race along the midsole. A hint of the identical supply of energy is revealed on the quarter panel to show that evil resides in it. The glow-in-the-dark outsole is an extra exciting feature. If you´re a movies fan, you´re probably gonna like these kicks. As part of their “Cinema Pack” which already includes Purple Rain and TRON inspired colorways, Reebok is dropping a new set of sneakers channeling the adventurous styling of George Lucas’ Indiana Jones. One of the shoes included in the Indiana Jones set is the BB 4600 Hi, which is seen here in a denim and brown leather look reminiscent of the rugged wardrobe of the film series’ protagonist. The red-to-yellow gradient effect on the inner lining is symbolic of the official Indiana Jones logo, while a carved graphic on the tongue serves as a call-out to the classic flicks as well. Several of the 3 inch figures are shown which has become one of TV’s funniest and most controversial mainstream cartoons over the last few years. Each blindbox toy comes with a collector card and retails for $10 USD.

TRON: Legacy has officially hit the theaters in the USA, but the promotion has not stopped. Seen here is a collaboration with Reebok that is sure to turn a few heads. The pack includes two sneakers, the PUMP Insta Fury and the Court Victory, both  outfitted in a TRON inspired make-ups. Looks like the new year will start off pretty good for all Star Wars fans out there. The Star Wars x Adidas Originals collaboration will continue in 2011 with some new models.  There’s an Adidas El Dorado modeled after the AT-AT Driver with a helmet-embellished tongue Jeremy Scott would be proud of, a wraparound depiction of the Imperial Planet on the Coruscant hightop and a Bob Marley-meets-Boba Fett lowtop just to name a few. A film-themed Sk8 Hi features black on canvas and acqua blue on leather colorway, with a TRON tag added on the tongue, Disney tag inside the tongue and some unique designs on the upper. The Adidas TR Speedcut XR Twilight Zone has a very futuristic and hypnotic design and features a reflective glow-in-the-dark UV sensitive in the upper. Han Solo’s fuzzy buddy gets his own pair of Adidas in the form of the Jogging Hi, a model originally released in 1982. Shades of brown cover the fan favorite inspired model paired with black laces and a black midsole. Silver eyelets, a ‘Wookie’ debray, and Chewie branding on the tongue top off the fur lined tribute.
