Many people have been waiting for the news on these special Air Max 1’s. Initially though to be part of the celebration of Patta’s 5th anniversary last year, since they released 4 different colorways of the Air Max 1 to commemorate the occasion. What we thought was going to be the final release of the 5th pair we now find out is a actually a Parra shoe. We saw sneak peeks of the shoe in videos and at the Magic tradeshow in Las Vegas but now we know they will be released. It looks like it will be hard to get our hands on these as they will be limited to Patta. Designed by Parra the upper of the shoe is made up of a mix of suede and mesh with a chenille swoosh. The Parra logo is put onto the tongue in Blue along with the laces and upper eyelets. The shoeliner will contain special graphics from Parra. The shoe is finished off with a special multi-colored outsole. Going to be sole at Patta on March 13th this limited shoes will make it to very select Nike Sportswear accounts as well. Better call in your favors as this shoe will be hard to grab. We give you a full look at the Nike Air Royalty Macarons Pack. The high top sneaker is inspired by the iconic French pastry and comes in overall 4 pastelle colorways, all featuring tonal uppers. DC launches its third Double Label™ Project with Sixpack France and artist PMFKA for spring / summer 2010. No one does canvas sneakers like Converse and here we have a new line-up that is focused on original CONVERSE silhouettes but remixes the beloved familiarity with contemporary design, premium construction and sparks of collaborations with originals in art, design, fashion and culture.

Canvas shoes are undoubtedly one of the bright sartorial linings of spring after gruelling snowstorms of the winter. And speaking of the classic American sneaker staple, no one does canvas kicks like CONVERSE. Taking CONVERSE’s most coveted and iconic silhouette for a fresh, contemporary spin for spring, the label has created a new line dubbed the Converse First String Standards. The new line-up is focused on original CONVERSE silhouettes but remixes the beloved familiarity with contemporary design, premium construction and sparks of collaborations with originals in art, design, fashion and culture. While the collection is not done entirely in collaboration, it is without a doubt a line-up of carefully selected silhouettes unmined from the CONVERSE archives.

One of the first models to debut is the Chuck Taylor All Star. While the silhouette and shape is reminiscent of the familiar Chuck low-top, it comes with fresh features such as higher rubber bands, vintage rubber license plate logo and a top-of-the-line comfort system. The shoes are remade in summer appropriate chambray uppers in a light blue and grey and put together with contrast stitching for that added vintage vibe. These shoes are bound to give your steps a needed lightness and spring for the warmer days in the sun, and will be available late February at retailers such as UNDFTD and UBIQ.

There´s an interesting concept coming around from Puma. They´re combining sports with fashion as their slim-cut racing and running low tops are geared to classic high-end luxury footwear and sneakers from Gucci or Louis Vuitton.

The Black Label from PUMA operates on a very simple and well-attempted concept that is now prevalent in the sneaker market– combining sports with fashion. While the thought of giving sportswear a sartorial edge is nothing new, well executed concepts are difficult to find, and PUMA has managed to accomplish the task with flair and sophistication.

As previewed by the SHOES MASTER, The Black Label from PUMA takes quite a different spin from its current collection of slim-cut racing and running low tops and occasional boot that are reminiscent of classic high-end luxury footwear and sneakers from Gucci or Louis Vuitton. The Fall/Winter 2010 season is varied in silhouette, and tougher and edgier in design. Rather than the previous stream-lined and tightly fitted silhouettes, the new collection takes on a popular chunkier proportion and introduces them to the beloved hi-tops in the sneaker world. Some interesting design points include a play on a double tongue and a subtle burnished distressed outline on the tumbled leather for the iconic PUMA stripe. Low-tops come with foldable backs so they can be work as slip ons and desert boots are remixed with rubber soles and dressed in PUMA stripes. While there are intriguing and subtle plays on creativity in the designs, The Black Label remains measuredly subdued and mature in premium materials and classic tonal shades of grey, black, white and tans.

For those men whose offices enjoy a more relaxed dress code, these could possibly make a run to the office and replace the tired loafers for happier feet. Or, these would be easy and appropriate to transition from day to night and from outdoors to indoors with.

Today we show you an other colorway of the Nike Air Safari. For same days we present the black leather/ anthracite/purple and now comes the black leather/dark grey/orange. Both one are wtih the Air safari trademark, the safari pattern. Keep your eyes open, maybe we show more colorways in a few days. While Mos Def recorded his 2009 album, The Ecstatic, photographer, filmmaker, and visionist Cognito followed Mos while capturing various candid photographs of the artist that will now be on display for a week in Los Angeles as a part of the Ecstatic Moments Exhibition. The exhibition will include images from Mos Def’s visit to the Cape of Great Hope, South Africa and performing in Sao Paulo, Brazil as well as “end-of-the-night posse shots” featuring Jay Electonica, Talib Kweli, Erykah Badu, and Shuggie Otis. In addition to the exhibition, a limited edition tee was created in collaboration with Los Angeles boutique, UNION. The t-shirt is available now at UNION as well at their online store. Nike SB Dunk Hi Premium (Dr. Huxtable) (Wool) (Coogi) inspired by the sweathers which Cliff Huxtable wore in the legendary “Cosby Show”. The colorful coogi sweater-like graphic is a wool material. These sneakers are clearly linked to Dr. Huxtable’s (Bill Cosby) multi-patterened wool sweaters that he always wore. The Nike Dunk Hi is available from 1st februar 2010 and the rule is the same like before.

The Dunk low Pro SB comes in pine green / sail – light mint and is in the stores availabel from 1st March 2010.  The skin is a mix between wild leather and canvas. This sneaker is really hot right now and you should be fast, if you want a pair as one of the first.
