Diesel Sandstorm Collection Fall 2010

We all know Diesel for their apparel especially their denim pants, but they also have a line for timepieces and jewelery. The Diesel Sandstorm collection features watches (Timeframes Collection) and jewelry (Jewelery Collection), but we’ll focus on the former.
All of the watches seen here feature bold, black faces with camel leather straps. Three different models mix and match features like black & silver indexes and mesh dials. The Diesel Timeframes 2010 collection is already in Diesel brick and mortar stores and online. At a cost of about $100 to $140, these are definitely a nice alternative to the ubiquitous Casio G-Shocks. You can see all three models after the jump.

Casio G-Shock 2010 August Lineup

Casio gets set to release their lineup of G-Shock watches scheduled for the month of August 2010. The drop includes a “Matte Black Red Eye” pack seen over less popular styles, the AW-591ML-1AJF and the G-300ML-1AJF. Two tonal “Crazy Colors” DW-6900s also enter August’s release scheme, represented by blue and red colors. The lone collaboration for August revolves around Japanese anime franchise, Evangelion which involves a colorful purple/green/orange GA-110EV-6AJR. You can see detailed pics after the jump.

Panerai Luminor 1950

Today we have something quite exclusive and fashionable from famous italian watchmakers Panerai. The Panerai Luminor 1950 is one hot watch, but that doesn’t mean it falls short in the features department. With an eight-day power reserve and a great brushed gold effect both front and back, it probably won’t be venturing out of the special accessories closet until you get up the nerve. Water resistant up to about 328 feet and with an alligator band.

Casio x Mastermind Japan x Ron Herman: G-Shock Frogman Watch

Mastermind Japan deals out another collaborative project, hooking up with Japanese Ron Herman. The two bodies create an all black Casio G-Shock Frogman watch. The watch also features a skull logo back light.

Lasonic’s iPod Boombox

The iPod has certainly become the primary option for listening to music. But some of us miss the good ol’ days when we used to pop in a cassette and haul a boombox down the block while listening to “Fight The Power.” For those of you that are too young, just watch Spike Lee‘s “Do The Right Thing” and check out the legendary Radio Raheem. Lasonic was one of the first to blend the digital advancements of the iPod with the nostalgia of the boombox with their i931 model. Originally released back in 2008, the Ghetto Blaster may have flew under the radar but its unique style is something worth noting. It has an iPod dock, AM/FM radio, alarm, supports SD and USB flash, EQ adjuster, and uses AC power or batteries. The company also announced that they will be releasing a new model this year that is compatible with the iPhone and iPod Touch. You can cop the older model now at Lasonic’s online store for $129. Nieuwe Heren: beauty and geek

Now we want to inform you of  ‘the beauty and the geek’ which is made by netherland studio Nieuwe Heren: this is a hybrid combination of two disciplines: the beauty of the fashion world and the geeky side of technology. A pair jeans modified to accommodate a keyboard and a mouse. You can cover your mouse on the right back pocket – the mouse is attached to the jeans through an elastic wire. Further it has a wireless USB connection that allows the user to move around while still having control to the keyboard and mouse. On the knees there are speakers which gives the user the ability to listen to music and ‘the beauty and the geek’ looks like lines on a print board. More pics after the jump.

9ff GTurbo Conversions Up to 1000hp for Porsche 997 GT3 and GT3 RS

We can show you how to turn your ordinary sports car into a supercar – namely with the German tuner 9ff which has a set of conversion kits for the Porsche 997 GT3 and and 997 GT3 RS. First of all a short explanation: This is a bi-turbo conversation kit that can increase power up to 1000 hp. This is the reason for the creation of three seperately named models : the 9ff GTurbo750, GTurbo850 and GTurbo1000. The numbers indicate the horsepower figures. The torque figures, respectively, being 850 Nm, 910 Nm and 940 Nm. It takes 2.9 seconds for the Gturbo1000 to do the 0 to 100 km/h sprint, just 8,2 seconds to reach 200 km/h and 16.5 seconds for the 300 km/h mark. Depending on the gearing selection you could also reach the top speed of 392 km/h. Furthermore an aerodynamic kit is available that includes air intakes on the quarter panel for the intercooler and air outlets at the front to help reduce pressure in the wheel wells at high speeds. There are also new front (with LED indicators) and rear aprons, side skirts and options for side exhausts. For more pics follow the jump.
