IN MEMORY OF DENNIS HOPPER: 1936-2010
Dennis Hopper passed away recently at the age of 74. Originally making a mark in the 50s alongside James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause and Giant, he will always be remembered to me from the various colorful and unforgettable roles he played throughout his life: The photojournalist in Apocalypse Now, Frank Booth in Blue Velvet, the father in Rumble Fish, Clifford Worley in True Romance, Howard Payne in Speed, and countless others. He also directed the critically acclaimed Colors, and most notably, Easy Rider in 1969 which became the cinematic symbol of the 1960s, and which a film critic once noted that, “No other persona better signifies the lost idealism of the 1960s than that of Dennis Hopper.” Besides acting, Dennis was a prolific photographer, painter, and sculptor, while once known to be one of Hollywood’s most notorious drug addicts for 20 yea rs.
Out now is a portrait tee of Dennis by renowned photographer Guy Webster.

Nike Zoom Kobe V – “Big Stage”
For the 2010 mid-season NBA classic, Nike prepared a special edition Nike Zoom Kobe V for the All-Star to wear. Now it’s only fitting that Nike do the same following the conclusion of a great NBA regular season and just before the NBA Finals kicks off. Pictured here, this Nike Zoom Kobe V comes in a white/gold colorway with a bunch of lasered detailing paying homage to a number of Kobe’s accomplishments during the 2010 NBA regular season. Among those numbers are his 391 rebounds, 365 assists, 113 steals, the 25,207th point he broke the all-time Lakers scoring record with, and the 25,970 points he ended up with at the end of the regular season. Take a closer look after the jump.

Warriors Of Radness Presents: Gourmet & WOR
Introducing the Marina Del Rey collection, a collaboration between Warriors of Radness and Gourmet releasing in conjunction with the Tre WOR co-branded shoe.
Situated in Los Angeles County, just south of Venice, Marina Del Rey is one of the largest man-made small boat harbors in the United States. It is the carefree capital of LA County. Its many fancy shore side restaurants and yacht clubs seem a far distance from the hustle and flow of Los Angeles on a whole.
This sea green inspired collection reflects the listless cool of this affluent coastal community and is perfect for a champagne, sailing date with that slightly older, independently wealthy woman you met at the boardwalk last week.
The Marina Del Rey collection is available at Reserve LA, American Rag LA & OC, and Thalia Surf Shop. You can view the full collection here.

Converse Japan – Summer 2010 Releases
If you are a fan of the Converse low cut and Chuck Taylor, then you would surely go gaga over this pic. Look at this upcoming design collection for the said series under the brand Converse. Yes, it would another set of sneakers to be released for a brand new month. It is called new drops from Converse Japan.
I am quite sure you are already familiar with which models to expect from Converse Japanese syndicate. However, some applications are made different with every series being introduced. The drops last month for one were made with a wide range of looks that are monochromatic.
But now they are said to be sticking with what is only ‘simple’, ideal for the summer of 2010. They only came up with a number of two to three-toned appeal along with some tri-colored prints of leopard design.
