Converse Jack Purcell 75th Anniversary Collection
This Fall 2010 the Converse Jack Purcell collection celebrates its 75th anniversary. Referencing the 1930s with updated silhouettes and early 20th century techniques, Converse re-launches the original Johnny shoe (pictured above), as well as offering the standard JP in brogued and garment dyed options. All of the shoes in this collection also include premium linings and comfort foot beds, alongside the iconic smiling toe.

This coming spring, DC Comics will be teaming up with Converse to produce their very own superhero Converse Chuck Taylors collection. These five pairs celebrate the 75th anniversary of the company and each one illustrates images of vintage superheros on the uppers. In addition to the two pairs paying tribute to Superman and two pairs paying tribute to Batman, it is surprising to see the fifth pair paying tribute to Wonder Woman. With other superheroes such as Green Lantern and Flash in the DC lineup, will we be seeing more pairs revealed in the future? Check out details of the collaboration after the jump.
