adidas Running Marathon 10

The latest adidas proformance running models have taken some subtle cues from their forebears. One of the favorite relases of 2009 was the adidas ZX 8000 2009. That was createt for the Boston Marathon which as the name suggest took cues from the iconix ZX 8000. The adidas Running Marathon 10 looks this year to the original Marathon 80 for reference as it creates a contemporary design 30 years later the original. As well as some tributes to the originals has the Marathon 10 select retailers in a series of different and bold colors. Runner Grete Waitz partnered with adidas and her cancer care foundation „Aktiv mot kreft“ in that 5% from the of any Marathon 10 would advance the battle next to cancer. More pics after the jump.

Today I got the sample off the original Jeremy Scott Adidas signature shoes, the J-wing,  in my hands. The shoes look and feel nicer than any pics I saw before. Wings on both sides let you more fly than run. This not the first collabo from adidas and scott but I’m sure it is the fittest. Release date in europe is in the July 2010.

Shoe Biz San Francisco recently held a special event in collaboration with adidas and Estria, entitled the Estria Invitational Graffiti Battle. The charity in-store event featured participation from local and national graffiti artists in an effort to provide food and shelter for orphans in Africa and underprivileged kids in Oakland through proceeds from their work. The show put on display the talents of 20 of the most respected graffiti painters in the States while at the same time donated to YouthAgainstPoverty.com and YouthSpeaks.org. Adidas Young Yeezy’s Superstar II

We already reported about Adidas who is celebrating with Def Jam’s 25th anniversary and the related sneakers that have been released for this event. Now, we are showing you another pair that has been introduced recently, the Adidas Young Jeezy’s Superstar II. If you have noticed the Mid Forum edition comes in black/green-gold colorway, this time around the superstar II features an opposite color scheme. The shoe is predominately made up of white leather upper and midsole. Other features you may also find interesting are the traditional Adidas stripes in pink accent, black thin lining above the midsole, gold heel tab with the Adidas logo and black and white inner lining. Both shoes share the same focal point which is the portrait of the Hip Hop artist printed on the tongue. See another pic after the jump.
