Medicom Toy x Nike x Air Force 1 Low Premium TZ
2012 feiert die Be@rbrick Serie von Medicom Toy ihr 10 jähriges Jubiläum. Dafür wurden mit Nike drei exklusive AF 1 Low Premium TZ Sneaker entworfen – jedes Model ist an eine andere Bärenart angelehnt. Die Schuhe orientieren sich somit an dem Braun-, dem Schwarz- sowie dem Eisbären. Die Upper der drei Colorways, von denen wir euch leider nur zwei zeigen können, bestehen aus Ponyhair und Glattleder. Der Haken an der ganzen Sache ist – die Schuhe sind seit letzer Woche exklusiv und ausschließlich nur bei 21st Mercer (New York) erhältlich, sofern man sie außerhalb Japans kaufen möchte. Air Force hat ein kupferrotes Kleid bekommen und eine praktische Gummisohle. Sie und der weiße Swoosh sind auch so ziemlich das Einzige, dass den “all over” – Colorway unterbricht… Gut gemacht, Nike. Die Upperfläche kommt wie immer beim Air Force 1 in einem glatten Leder. Release Date ist für den Herbst angesetzt, allerdings ist noch nicht bekannt ob es auch ein Deutschland / Europa Release gibt. Last summer, Nike Sportswear released a collection of Air Force 1′s representing the five boroughs of New York City, coinciding with the World Basketball Festival. Now the NBA All Star Game is just around the corner in Los Angeles and Nike Sportswear celebrates the city with the Neighborhood Pack. Interestingly technically only Hollywood is part of the city of Los Angeles as East LA is not governed by the city of Los Angeles and Orange County outside of LA. However the three are part of LA sprawl and represent the diverse cultural collage that is Southern California.
The East LA AF1 features a predominantly black upper with a white Swoosh, and tonal stitching. The midsole has contrast stitching, while the outsole is done with a tinted clear finish.
Following the East LA AF1 is the Orange County AF1. This particular AF1 has a white upper with a perforated leather mid-panel. It also features a Max Orange sock liner, laces and contrast stitching on the midsole. Topping off the shoe is a Glass Blue icy outsole and Swoosh.
Finally there´s the Hollywood AF1, reflecting the glitz and glamor of Hollywood in the Metallic Gold hits on the white leather upper. Details include the Metallic Gold Swoosh and gold dubrays. After the jump you can find a lot of detailed pics, so be sure not to miss them.

After many iterations of the Nike Air Force 1, a new release takes on a more simplistic approach. The Grey Perf Air Force 1 does little in the way of bringing attention to itself with a gray colorway. The tonal gray upper does however feature perforated leathers with a black outsole. Nike Sportswear is back with the Micro Perf Pack including their Toki Air, Air Force 1 and Dunk High TK in their full gray versions. These kicks for sure are timeless basics. Simple and elegant, these pairs have seen a lot of different colorways, but none of them as seductive as the full gray version. With this treatment and the perforated leather these kicks are a notch above the black and white versions released in the last months. Release date is set to Saturday, October 30th. With their Air Force 1 “Hamptons” Nike is showing some Long Island love this summer. “The Hamptons” are the popular vacation destination for the bold and beautiful on the East End of Long Island. This limited sneaker features a white leather upper along with a perforated middle sole and Hamptons logo on the tongue. The translucent outsole reveals a map of the area. A few months ago we all lost an avid collector and fan of the Air Force 1, Reggie Halloway. Reggie’s affinity for the Air Force 1 and his passion for the Brand ran deep, and as news spread of his passing, bloggers, friends, forum members and those in the sneaker community got together to honor Reggie’s life and celebrate his love for the Air Force 1. A website was established, www.reggieaf1.com, where people donated funds toward creating a Bespoke Air Force 1 in Reggie’s memory. The end result is the shoe pictured in this post. Inspiration was drawn from Reggie’s love of the Houston Rocket’s and their logo from the mid 90′s. Check out some more pics after the jump of the shoe created in Reggie’s name.

The gold detailing, black midsole and swoosh, complete with a shiny and croc-print-esque black upper the line up for this, the latest drop from Nike Womens division. The Nike Air Force 1 Hi Supreme LE features a canvas ankle strap, which is also black. Scales aside, this a more restrained womens colourway than usual which I think is a good thing, being that the usual multicloured and more garish colourways usually appeal more to the mal than female crowd.
