Asics Pastel Pack Summer 2010

For summer, Asics presents their new Pastel Pack. The pack consists of the Asics Gel Lyte III and GT II. Both come in some very solid colorways, that are refreshing, yet not going too crazy. Look out for a release of these in May. Detailed images of the Asics Pastel Pack follows after the jump.

Asics GEL Lyte Speed Samples

Asics sprang out for some cool new colourways to their GEL Lyte Speeds by sneaker designer Ronnie Fieg. The new collection features three new colorways: lime green & blue with white, blue & orange with black/white, as well as a red & yellow with black. See some more pics after the jump.

VitroRobertson x Asics | World’s Largest Lite-Brite

San Diego-based advertising agency, VitroRobertson and their client ASICS®, a performance athletic footwear and apparel company has officially been awarded the Guinness World Record for the Largest Lite-Brite ever constructed.

The record setting light-installation was inspired by the original Hasbro Lite-Brite toy that was hugely popular during the late 1960’s. The piece was constructed using 347,004 Lite-Brite colored pegs, creating a replica of the ASICS GEL-Lyte III™ trainer: albeit a 9 feet tall by 14 feet wide version that eclipsed the previous Lite-Brite world record of 5’ X 10’.

In 2009, the world’s largest Lite-Brite will be touring the country, traveling to concerts, parties and events like the Summer X-Games, The MTV Music Awards and Lollapalooza.

Patta x Asics Gel Lytespeed Pack | Elms, Delta, Parra

A couple of years ago Amsterdam based store Patta put Asics back onto the sneaker map with their collaboration. Today we present you their upcoming collaboration project with Asics and three of the most respected artists in this culture – Eric Elms, Delta and Parra.

They worked on the Gel Lytespeed with Asics in three colorways on the exterior. The influence and work of the respective artists only becomes apparent when looking at the interior of the sneakers. The Delta sneaker comes in black, the Elms sneaker in purple and the Parra sneaker in red.

They once again managed to create a fantastic line-up of sneakers. Nothing too heady on the exterior, but strong color combinations with all the details on the interior. The white mid sole gives the sneakers a clean finish. You can be sure that these will be gone fast.

Additional goodies coming along with the pack, as well as other retailers that will be getting it, will be announced soon. The pack will be released at Patta on January 31rst.

Asics Onitsuka Coolidge

Here we got the Asics Onitsuka Coolidge in a very special colorway. As you can see it comes in light blue and with a pink toe cap. The outer sole is white. The main part of the shoe has nice flowers stitched all over. It’ll be available in the first quarter of 2009 at Vagant.
