Jordan Brand has been pretty busy releasing numerous sneakers lately. Many of the latest sneakers from Jordan has also took inspiration from older sneakers, for instance, these kicks have a touch of the Air Jordan 3 cement print and uses the Air Jordan 4 model. Jordan Brand has also decided to implement patent leather onto these Jordan Flight23, along with a touch of cement print found on the mid-sole. Here´s a close look on LeBron James´third signature shoe, the LeBron 8 P.S. in a Miami Heat Home colorway. While his first two kicks shared the midsole, the Post Season model offers a 180 turnaround. Literally! The 360 degree Air Max cushioning has been replaced here in favor of probably the biggest 180 Air Max unit in the heel and Zoom Air in the forefoot. We´ve already seen the Nike Blazer Mid in its Vintage version, now the Swoosh gives this new (old) Dunk AC the vintage treatment, available in four old school colorways and set to drop next month. They´re all featuring a suede upper with a thick rubber outsole. You can see pics of three colorways after the jump.
Converse once again worked together with Schott, creating a new “Leather Jacket” edition for the Chuck Taylor All Star. They´re giving this model the premium leather treatment using navy as the primary color for the soft leather upper. The upper construction is broken up into panels divided by diagonal seams and folded pleats. Leather is also wrapped around the midsole using a white stitched band of leather trim. Gold zipper accents are placed inside the eyelets while a functional zipper along the back heel gets you in and out of these sneakers in a flash. Australian artist Sekure D presents his newest collection of custom made sneakers. He referres to it as the Nike Dunk “Villain” Custom Collection including three excellent and eye-catching designs. Sekure D chose the Nike Dunk High to become the base of his creation and by working with three diverse themes, he brings a never-seen-before idea that would surely make you go wow. To evaluation, the primary pair is named, “Daywalker” rendering a blending of black and red with detailed graphics and splatters plus white Swoosh. “Mr. Freeze” could be the subsequent pair’s label represented by various blue shades to realize water tone with snow graphics and red texts along the heel. The third Villain design comes in a “Mummy” theme exactly where graphics of mummy wrappings covers a lot of the locations with all the remainder performed up in some abstract imagery. Spring 2011 belongs to the Nike Dunk High, which has come out in full force, especially with the much beloved gum sole. Now, another gum based pair has hit retailers. This pair makes use of a predominately white suede and leather upper with the suede gracing the side and toe box and leather covering the heel and toe caps. Jordan Brand started a great new program called “WINGS for the Future”. It has the goal of motivation and inspiration of today’s youth using education, sport, and creativity. First partnering school will be Inglewood High School. As part of the WINGS program, Jordan Brand employees will conduct weekly workshops and participate in activities involving graphic designs, essay writing, and career planning while providing a complete refurbishment of the school basketball court and classrooms. To commemorate this honorable partnership, Jordan Brand has collaborated with well-known artist and sneakerhead Dave White of the UK, who is best recognized for his amazing canvas paintings of classic sneakers. This time around, he gets to work with the original Air Jordan shoe that is the foundation of Jordan Brand – the Air Jordan 1.
The Dave White x Air Jordan 1 Retro features White’s sublime graphic touch on the upper, using red brush strokes and copious floods of metallic gold in White’s personal style of layers and splatters. Premium canvas, call-out to White’s ‘canvas’ of choice’ can be found on the tongue tag, with a pristine lasered inner lining. Environmentally Preferred Mesh is also utilized on interior walls of the shoe. White furthers his reach beyond the shoe with a special Air Jordan ‘Wings’ logo on the box painted in his trademark motif as well.
