Last month, Carmelo Anthony moved to the New York Knicks in a blockbuster trade with the Denver Nuggets. Therefore and to celebrate the rest of the regular season and Playoffs, Jordan Brand releases these all new Jordan Brand x Carmelo Anthony T-Shirts. Each tee features its own special graphic, like the one of the Brooklyn Bridge, and print, like ‘Melo State of Mind’, a play off of the popular ‘Empire State of Mind’ hit single from fellow New York natives Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. Nike´s paying respect to the five boroughs of New York City, so they called on DJ Clark Kent to design a pack of five Air Force 1 Lows, one for each borough of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. Each has similar features — “varsity jacket” wool panels and chenille Swooshes mixed with full-grain leather, metal eyelets, gum rubber outsoles, and borough-specific branding on the laces and heels — and are just made up in different colorways. All five will be released this Saturday, July 31st. If you´re not in NYC they’ll also be available online at nike.com, but you will have to act quick.
