Dave White x Air Jordan 1 Retro

Jordan Brand started a great new program called “WINGS for the Future”. It has the goal of motivation and inspiration of today’s youth using education, sport, and creativity. First partnering school will be Inglewood High School. As part of the WINGS program, Jordan Brand employees will conduct weekly workshops and participate in activities involving graphic designs, essay writing, and career planning while providing a complete refurbishment of the school basketball court and classrooms. To commemorate this honorable partnership, Jordan Brand has collaborated with well-known artist and sneakerhead Dave White of the UK, who is best recognized for his amazing canvas paintings of classic sneakers. This time around, he gets to work with the original Air Jordan shoe that is the foundation of Jordan Brand – the Air Jordan 1.
The Dave White x Air Jordan 1 Retro features White’s sublime graphic touch on the upper, using red brush strokes and copious floods of metallic gold in White’s personal style of layers and splatters. Premium canvas, call-out to White’s ‘canvas’ of choice’ can be found on the tongue tag, with a pristine lasered inner lining. Environmentally Preferred Mesh is also utilized on interior walls of the shoe. White furthers his reach beyond the shoe with a special Air Jordan ‘Wings’ logo on the box painted in his trademark motif as well. Just twenty-three pairs of the Dave White x Air Jordan 1 Retro exist, and will be auctioned off at auction.SoleCollector.com. The auction started on February 16th and will last for two more days. Merry Green Christmas – Christmas Charity Campaign BEARBRICKS

Christmas is always a good time for charity so MEDICOM TOY and ISETAN will align themselves in a charitable Merry Green Christmas campaign in association with Green Santa, starting December 4th. Focused on bringing to the light the dwindling green spaces around the world and in Japan, the sale of a special collection of BEARBRICKS will result in ¥100 JPY donations towards the planting of new trees. The green, pink and blue BEARBRICKS are priced at ¥300 JPY while the silver one is priced at ¥400 JPY. They will be available at ISETAN stores.

Nike Doernbecher Zoom P-Rod 2.5 x Cooper Ladd

This is a closer look on Cooper Ladd’s design for the Nike Zoom P-Rod 2.5. Cooper Ladd is one of a lot of young designers for the Doernbecher Freestyle Project. Here he implemented some brown plaid patterns right on the toe box, the heel area and the lower side of the kicks. With the help of the Nike professional designing team, he also utilized some white leather right on the center side with some stealth leather swoosh. It also has a giraffe print right on the tongue that has animated logo with the inside finished in purplish fur. Its insole took its inspiration from the wizard scene with some swords and in the icy outsole, you can read Just Do It in red. See some more pics after the jump.

Nike Lunarglide 2 Chicago Marathon

This one is not a collaboration between Nike and Chicago Marathon (which took place on October 10th), but it is an exclusive Lunarglide 2 that was especially made for the said event. The kicks feature cool color combination of grey, black and turquoise. And of course “Chicago” is written on the tongue is color red.

Air Jordan III “Doernbecher” – First Look

As part of a fund raising series that Doernbecher Children’s Hospital is having they are set to be releasing a total of six Jordans each designed by a child who has spent a significant amount of time at the hospital. As the first release we´ll now have a look at the Air Jordan III’s.
On this pair of Jordans we can see a mainly red upper with a checker board design. The famous elephant print that the III’s use is seen on the heel and toe of the sneaker, while black accents can be seen on the mudguard, heel and tongue of the sneaker. As a nice finishing to these Jordans we can see an icy sole used. Keep in touch for more information about upcoming releases of this series.

Jay-Z x Nike Air Force 1 “All Black Everything”

It´s not a secret that sneaker brands like to team up with celebrities wearing their shoes to create a special modell for them. Now it´s time for Nike and rapper Jay-Z to bring their names to one of the biggest collaborations of the year. The Nike Air Force 1 and Jay-Z are amongst the top of their respective fields and have created a following that are arguably second to none.
In this Jay-Z x Nike Air Force 1 “All Black Everything” collaboration, Nike has created five designs that will be produced. Only two pairs of each design will be created and auctioned off on eBay. All proceeds will go completely to benefit the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. It features a special “HOV” branding on the tongue tag and an assortment of premium prints and materials which can be seen on the lace eyelets and side panels. Nike Air Max Lebron VII NFW, Think Pink

If you are looking for sneakers that are strictly made for women, then the Nike Air Max Lebron VII NFW, Think Pink is what you should opt for. These sneakers are also made to help support the Breast Cancer Awareness Program. And to be able to show the same, most of the NBA players even sport some pink apparel during some of their games. These shoes display some predominant white and pink colors with a white upper heel, mudguard and heel. On the toe area, what you can see is a white patent leather.
The distinct feature of these shoes would be the flywire replacement that comes with a woven pattern which gives the entire shoes a very simple and clean look. There are hints of breaking pink which can be apparent on the Nike swoosh, the inner lining, the tongue tag, collar area, shoe laces, the outer sole and the Air Max sole. A few days ago we announced the Joker Brand Charity Auction for the German Children Cancer Foundation. Today we received some news from Joker, so here it is:

Hi Everybody,

When we wanted to start the auction Sunday night eBay asked us to verify our bank & account informations. Right when we wanted to start the auction. We had no chance to reach somebody at eBay so we decided to start the auction Monday. Now everything is cool and eBay accepted us a verified customers.

So the auction started Monay on 8:00 pm european time. If you are from the westcoast,.. thats 11:00 am and if you are from the east,.. that´s 2:00 pm. Please, take part and bid as much as you can. All money will be donated to the Children Cancer Foundation over here in germany. We already informed the good people there about the delay.
