Shoe Biz SF x adidas x Estria Invitational Graffiti Battle Recap

Shoe Biz San Francisco recently held a special event in collaboration with adidas and Estria, entitled the Estria Invitational Graffiti Battle. The charity in-store event featured participation from local and national graffiti artists in an effort to provide food and shelter for orphans in Africa and underprivileged kids in Oakland through proceeds from their work. The show put on display the talents of 20 of the most respected graffiti painters in the States while at the same time donated to YouthAgainstPoverty.com and YouthSpeaks.org. Nike Paris Bastille by 180g

180g revisits Nike for a new collection of custom died pieces. The Parisian dye house created an wide array of custom colored sneakers using washed silk, leathers, and mineral flakes for an athletic look. The Air Flytop and Tennis Classic both get ample play alongside other styles, while each pair sports contrast colored laces, reptile applications and more. The launch of this collection takes place Thursday, November 5th at 180g.

KRINK x LEVI’S 2009 FALL/WINTER COLLECTION

KR’s signature drips have added aesthetic appeal to walls, mailboxes, cars, doors and now denim. Levi’s Japan and the graffitiartist  KRINK have come together to put out a capsule collection for Fall/Winter 2009 consisting of five pieces: the KRINK x Levi’s KRINK 505, the KRINK x Levi’s KRINK JKT, the “Drip” KRINK Sweat Parka, the KRINK Raglan Tee “K-60″ and the KRINK Tee “K-60″. HUGO, the younger and edgier collection from Hugo Boss, has worked with designer Karim Rashid on a limited edition perfume bottle. The HUGO perfume has been released in 1995 and comes now in the new Rashid bottle, which is limited to 1000 pieces worldwide. The bottle will be available at 100 retailers, including Selfridges (London), Sephora (Paris), Harvey Nichols (Dubai) and the Gallerie Lafayette in Berlin from next week already, where the launch event is also be taking place. Nike x Parra – Varsity Jacket

For the Nike Artist Collab Series 2009, Nike have once again contacted Dutch artist Parra whom have been working together of late on various capsule collections. This varsity jacket is designed in Parras famous hand drawn characters and writing along with great use of warm tones for the upcoming cold climates. The maroon body is constructed of wool with matching maroon leather sleeves and accented with multi-color collar, cuffs and waist band.
