Converse work up a new sneaker collection featuring a tie-dye motif. The line up consists of two popular Converse models including the Chuck Taylor Hi and Skidgrip Low. Both are available in two different versions.

Converse Spring 2009 Pink Floyd Collection

We give you a detailed look at the Pink Floyd Converse Chucks.

Of course the sneakers were inspired by the album artwork of Pink Floyd. The “Dark Side Of The Moon” album artwork appears on a Chuck Taylor Hi and a Jack Purcell. The “Animals” album inspired the upper of another Chuck Taylor Hi, featuring an all-over photo print. The pack will be released in March at Journeys and on Converse.com.

Converse Skidgrip Jams – Ox & Mid

Converse has just released a collaboration series of sneakers with Jams, the two companies have brought back the Skidgrip, one of the original sneakers from the 1980’s that were commonly found on surfers and skaters alike. The Converse Skidgrip Jams Ox (Low) and Mid are available now at select Converse retailers including HUF.

CONVERSE CTS (SKATE)

Here’s a little sampler of the new Converse Skate Range… Tasteful and restrained, the CTS is looking dope-a-rope in premium black leather with gold eyelets. As you would expect, the range is a mix of retro faves that have been ‘skate-ified’, mainly by adding some sort of memory foam to the collar and tongue to keep your feet safe and sound as a pound.

CONVERSE X UNDFTD (POORMAN’S WEAPON)

Inspired by the classic military bomber jacket, this Poorman’s Weapon was designed by LA’s Undefeated crew. What seems like a simply nice black nylon shoe is loaded with top gun details including a removable Velcro Converse chevron, signature ‘War is Big Business’ embroidered patch and a manila inventory card. This is a great example of creating a themed story round a shoe that is neither corny nor unwearable and both parties should be well pleased with such a maverick result! CONS – Converse Skateboarding 2009 Spring Collection

Following up on a strong presence by Nike and adidas in the skateboard realm, fellow footwear staple Converse has stepped onto the proverbial deck with their entry entitled CONS. The debut release consists of a slightly beefed up All-Star, dubbed the CTS (Chuck Taylor Skate) coming in three colorways. The all-black being reminiscent of a particular pair designed by Hiroshi Fujiwara and Fragment. Also included in the premiere Converse skate line is the ERX 300, a mid top model based on the classic basketball shoe. Boasting a team consisting of Ethan Fowler, Sammy Baca, Raymond Molinar, Nick Trapasso and Anthony Pappalardo, the CONS line launches in January at core skate shops worldwide.
