DC Double Label™ Project x Sixpack x PMFKA
DC launches its third Double Label™ Project with Sixpack France and artist PMFKA for spring / summer 2010. Two distinctive DC silhouettes, the Admiral and Sector 7, were recruited for this collection and feature the sober and monochromatic designs of PMKFA, whose patterns are based on both the obvious and the not-so-obvious elements of street culture. DC X UXA (THE BIG APPLE)

DC & UXA has just released the limited edition Ryan Smith 2.0S “The Big Apple” collaboration. Designed by Peter Huynh, Jefferson Pang and Peter Bici. The mid cut pro shoe is inspired purely by skateboarding lifestyle in the Big Apple. The colors were drawn from the philosophy of form and function in which the thought that a good looking maneuver is not complete without a good looking shoe.

DC Shoes x Mike Shinoda – MSDC Xander

Juggling between his duties as the front man for Linkin Park, his side project Fort Minor, and creating the majority of cover art, merchandise, and website for both projects. Mike Shinoda still finds time to design for DC Shoes‘ Remix Series. The third installment of the collaboration, the MSDC Xander feature a streamlined design of all white leather upper. Both left and right side walls are adorned with complex geometric patterns via laser etched onto the leather. Kanji/Chinese characters of 限定商品 , or “limited merchandises” adorned on the in-side side of each foot. Printed on the clear sole on the bottom and the insole is an original illustration from Shinoda, a continuation of the skull and Koi fish theme. Proceeds from the sales will go to the Michael K. Shinoda Scholarship at the prestigious Art Center College of Design, Shinoda’s alma mater. The DC Shoes x Mike Shinoda – MSDC Xander for 2009 will be launch this Summer.

DC x Kendo Double Label Retailer Project – The Spruce Kendo

DC and influential women’s sneaker retailer, Kendo, have paired to introduce the first women’s sneaker in DC’s Double Label™ Retailer Project– The Spruce Kendo.
A woman’s ever evolving sense of style was Kendo’s inspiration for the unique colorway. The shoe features different reptile skins that have been applied with a lenticular technique to create the impression of an ever changing look. They then paired the animal print with opulent gold, tan and copper colors, and added red for an edgy color pop with the Kendo logo featured on the heel as well as printed on the insole.
Releasing April 1, 2009, the Spruce Kendo will be online at www.kendo-la.com and www.store.dcshoes.com as well as DC retail locations in Los Angeles and Soho.

DC – Double Label Project – Akroe

Here we’ve got another exclusive preview on the DC double Laber Project for you. This time it’s the DC Xander and the DC Sector 7. Both are designed by french artist AKROE. On the heel and the side there a two stichings, the one is the AKROE logo and the other is the “non merci” writing. The sole shows the face that was also used on the other products of the line, like: the Metro leather jacket, Merci satin jacket, illusion crew pullover and the MCP Zip Hoody.
These pieces will be available in Fall 09.

DC Teamworks Collection – Travis Pastrana

DC – LIFE Collection – W’s Admiral

Here we take a look at two pieces from the Dc LIFE Collection, the higher prized Collection is coming Fall 09. What you can see above is the W’s Admiral in black and turquoise. They come with a foam-padded tounge and collar for added comfort and support a cup sole with DCs trademark pill pattern and the allen key inspired metal eyelet. The upper is made of full grain leather or fill grain nubuck.

UNKL x DC Shoes Double Label Project
DC Shoes has decided to re-launch their Graph model sneaker, but this time accompanied by SUG and UNKL. The Double Label Project includes both a SUG figure and DC sneaker, with a glow in the dark theme thanks to UNKL. The DC x UNKL Double Label project are limited to 450 packs and will launch at 5&A Dime on Friday, January 23rd from 6pm – 9pm during the AGENDA tradeshow in San Diego. The pack is priced at $260 USD.
