VANS California – Herbst 2012 Kollektion

Die neue Kleiderlinie von Vans California erinnert an die Anfänge von Vans als kalifornische Marke. So besteht die kompakte Kollektion aus nostalgischen Grafiken und Design Highlights und ist für unsere Zeit etwas untypisch. Dennoch ist sie durchaus ein Blickfang, z.B. durch die Red Bear Tags in Anlehnung an die kalifornische Flagge und die kleinen Brandings. Insgesamt enthält diese Herbstkollektion eine wasserabweisende Carlsbad Jacket, ein Carpinteria Crew Neck Fleece Sweatshirt, ein Asilomar Knit Henley Shirt bzw. einen Butano Langarm Chambray Pullover. The new collection features a combination of both parent colors to produce unexpected results.

In addition to the new spring colors, Nooka has released a new version of the Nooka AO, which is significantly wider than its predecessor. The enlarged dimensions allow the user to store cash via one simple fold, while still making it pocket friendly. The new piece also features a more sophisticated closure that no longer uses a strap. The new containers will feature a hood that tucks into part of the wallet for more security and durability. The new AO also comes with a removable insert, thus providing even more storage space. Converse and Missoni teamed up for the third time now, creating some new Chuck Taylor All Star for Spring 2011. The two new styles again uses iconic Missoni space-dyed knits, this collection includes vibrant multi colored horizontal stripe patterns using the exclusive to Converse First String Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette, originally created for the US military in the 1960s. A women’s only version will be available in a palette of aqua green, purple and black and a unisex version will come in varying shades of green, yellow, red and blue. Each includes an embossed monochromatic Chuck Taylor All Star leather logo patch and high level construction throughout. Release is set for March, so keep your eyes open.
