G-SHOCK: Urban Shock Artist Program

Here´s a little teaser for the all-new artist-driven campaign G-SHOCK launches with their Urban Shock Artist Program. Three different graffiti artists, DEMS333, ROID, and SKORE183, will take part as they each offer their own respective take on a CASIO G-SHOCK watch. The video seen here offers a first insight into the project as the artists discuss the importance of colors and how it affects their artwork. G-Shock x Adult Swim “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” Watch

Casio G-Shock 2010 August Lineup

Casio gets set to release their lineup of G-Shock watches scheduled for the month of August 2010. The drop includes a “Matte Black Red Eye” pack seen over less popular styles, the AW-591ML-1AJF and the G-300ML-1AJF. Two tonal “Crazy Colors” DW-6900s also enter August’s release scheme, represented by blue and red colors. The lone collaboration for August revolves around Japanese anime franchise, Evangelion which involves a colorful purple/green/orange GA-110EV-6AJR. You can see detailed pics after the jump.

Casio x Mastermind Japan x Ron Herman: G-Shock Frogman Watch

Mastermind Japan deals out another collaborative project, hooking up with Japanese Ron Herman. The two bodies create an all black Casio G-Shock Frogman watch. The watch also features a skull logo back light.

Casio x Wood Wood G-Shock | A Detailed Look

The legendary Casio company was kind enough to treat Wood Wood to their very own G-Shock. They kept the face simple, with nothing more than an embossed W.W. changed up front – though the band is quite ornate with a wrap-around “W” hand sign. Only 15 pieces in the whole wide world. G-Shock October 2009 Releases

Casio Japan reveals their G-Shock lineup for October 2009. Highlights include a black and rose gold Frogman, glossy “Crazy Color” AW-582s, the solar-powered, screw-faced GW-7900 in two new makeups (black/black pictured above left) and the G-LIDE 5600 in two solid new colors (red/black pictured above right). Each watch comes loaded with G-Shock’s trademark harsh environment protection features including waterproofing, impact resistance and cold-weather readiness. Casio G-Shock “Shock The World” Tour 2009 – Asia Editions

The worldwide Casio G-Shock “Shock The World” promotional tour, which kicked off in London on June 11th and arrives in Hong Kong on June 26th. Each city will host parties with exclusive product launches and special guest performances and DJs. The project also features a series of exclusive artist collaborations with the brand, including Hong Kong’s local street-lifestyle brand SUBCREW, led by celebrity actor/designer/DJ Sam Lee and popular rap group, 24HERBS, Singapore’s art and design collective, :phunk, and Taiwan’s fixed-gear bicycle crew, nabiis. The tour also features the “Father of G-Shock,” Kikuo Ibe, creator of the legendary “shock-resistant” timepiece. These artists will create limited-edition one-off designs for “Shock The World” Tour 2009 that will not be reproduced for sale.

Pharrell Williams Custom Bape x Casio G-Shock DW-6900

In the world of custom G-Shocks, Pharrell and the crew has pretty much outdone and outshone anybody with his outlandish customs. Add another one to the collection with this new gold joint. Based on a Bape collaboration DW-6900, the watch is encrusted in gold while the G-Shock logo on the top of the face is left in rainbow colors. Of course an exclusive 1 of 1 piece.
