2011 Nike Black History Month Full Lineup

Yesterday we showed you Nike´s Black History Month Pack. Today we have the complete lineup of this pack for you. To honor Martin Luther King Day (February 17th) 26 NBA Teams played 13 games wearing black and gold Nike, Converse and Jordan sneakers. Some of the sneakers that were showcased on the court were the Nike Air Force 1, Nike Kobe VI, Nike HyperDunk, Air Jordan III, Air Jordan Take Flight, Air Jordan Melo 7, Converse Star Player, and much much more. Aston Martin x Kobe Bryant x Nike Hyperdunk

2008, when Nike released the Hyperdunk they started working together with LA Lakers Superstar Kobe Bryant to promote their new kicks. They produced several videos with Kobe jumping to incredible heights which Nike wanted us to believe was only possible when wearing a pair of the ultra light Hyperdunks. Kobe was seen jumping over an assortment of things, one of them being a moving Aston Martin.

Now Aston Martin isn´t any longer only featured with a car in a video but got its´ own sneaker toghether with Kobe. The shoes feature a chrome like Metallic Silver finish on the toe, ankle panel, lace panels and heel cap, with a Gunmetal color on the Flywire upper and Silver again on the mid-sole. The inner lining is fabricated from smooth Red leather to resemble the exotic leather interior on an Aston Martin and fixed to the tongue is a round piece of carbon fiber with Kobe’s name, the Aston Martin logo and the Nike Swoosh all printed on it in a stacked formation. Kobe’s signature is also included on the backside of the tongue on a Red leather tag.

These kicks will be limited to 500 pairs and are expected to drop sometime during Spring.

Nike Hyperdunk Philippines | Release

These colorful kicks have been released shortly by Nike. The Hyperdunk themes the bright national colors of the Philippines paired with a very dynamic and modern look. They´re featuring a leather and patent leather upper and whether you´re from the Phillipines or not, they will look great on your foot!

Nike “NBA on TNT” Hyperdunk

You all know Nike´s basketball sneaker of choice the Hyperdunk. Here we have it in an all new colorway called “NBA on TNT”. They have been produced to mark the 20 year anniversary of NBA games being broadcast on the TNT network. On the tongue are the faces of commentators Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and the legend Sir Charles Barkely.

The Original Nike Hyperdunk of Back to the Future II sold for 5,300$

The one and only original prototype of the Nike shoes Michael J. Fox wore in the movie Back To the Future II has been sold on ebay the last days. The winner of the auction paid 5,300 $ to get this rarity! The REAL name of the shoes in Marty McFly’s world of 2015 was the “Nike Mag” because of their magnetic properties, and that’s what is molded in the back of the heel. Check out the item on ebay.
