The long awaited new iPhone has been released. It’s called iPhone 3 G S the S stands for speed. Major improvements are a chip that is working twice as fast. The camera a auto focus function, and a video function is available too. You can even edit and upload your video to youtube. Another big deal is the voice control. The new iPhone will be available in a 16 GB version for $ 199 and a 32GB version for $ 299.

For Gallery 1988’s new exhibit celebrating their fifth anniversary, Alex Pardee created a new work entitled Revenge of the Black Nerd. Gelaskins used the print on several protective skins for the iPhone, iPod, and MacBook. No word if there will be an official release but about 100 will be released at the opening today. You can get Pardee’s earlier works for Gelaskins through their website.

Japanese brand Q-pot took their food theme style to reproduced cases the iPhone 3G and iPod. Shaped and designed as a candy bar, Q-pot gives you choice flavors in Chocolate (brown) and Strawberry (pink). Q-pot founded by Tadaaki Wakamatsu in 2002 and is mostly known for their pastry designed jewelry and accessories.

Ultimate Ears has quietly added a new range-topping in-canal earbud set. The Triple.Fi 10vi earns its name from its three separate drivers and is claimed to have the same sound characteristics as the company’s studio and concert monitors but without the customization that adds to the cost; frequency response ranges as low as 10Hz and as high as 17kHz. As an in-canal set, the 10vi provides passive noise canceling and eliminates about 26dB of outside sound.
The unit is also Ultimate Ears’ highest-end model to carry a built-in microphone and has a single-button control to take calls and navigate tracks on iPhones, BlackBerries, and other phones that support such input. Ultimate Ears offers the new set in a single color and sells them for $420.
