Converse x Missoni Chuck Taylor All Star | Spring 2011

Converse and Missoni teamed up for the third time now, creating some new Chuck Taylor All Star for Spring 2011. The two new styles again uses iconic Missoni space-dyed knits, this collection includes vibrant multi colored horizontal stripe patterns using the exclusive to Converse First String Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette, originally created for the US military in the 1960s. A women’s only version will be available in a palette of aqua green, purple and black and a unisex version will come in varying shades of green, yellow, red and blue. Each includes an embossed monochromatic Chuck Taylor All Star leather logo patch and high level construction throughout. Release is set for March, so keep your eyes open. Converse x Missoni Chuck Taylor All Star Fall 2010 Collection

For their Fall 2010 Collection, Converse again teamed up with Missoni continuing on the success of the Spring 2010 collaboration. Their Fall Collection includes two new styles for the Cuck Taylor All Star. The new styles are updated versions of the classic Chuck Taylor All Star shoe with black and white space dyed knits covering the sides and toecap in bold horizontal stripes and in the notorious Missoni zigzag pattern, created by a unique technique called Raschel revived by the Missoni house in the late ‘60s for high-end fashion, finished off with soft sheep leather in “Missoni Brick Red” on the split tongue, heel pull tab and partially lined collar – all brand new updates for the Fall 2010 silhouette. Due to the unique space dyed technique used this season, each shoe is one of a kind as the knits are carefully spun to vary from piece to piece. You can see detailed pics after the jump.

Converse x Missoni – Premium Chuck Hi Missoni

Converse has decided to collaborate with Italian brand Missoni and produce a collection of shoes. Included are several colorways in the Premium Chuck Hi Missoni, which feature the brands infamous zig zag pattern along the upper, giving them a unique and vibrant look. Be on the look out for these, as they should begin hitting select accounts sometime next year.
