Nike Air Max 2 CB ’94 – Amare Stoudemire PE
This summer Amare Stoudemire moved to New York, but before this move, Amare was down south in Phoenix, where he recieved a pair of Nike Air Max 2 CB ’94 player exclusives. Dressed in the Phoenix Suns colors, the shoes upper features a mix of grey nubuck and grey tumble leather, with a dark grey midsole and some orange accents throughout the shoe. If you´re in NYC or will be there until November 5th you should consider visiting Hiroki Otsuka´s Show “Mangdala”. Hiroki’s show will combine two art forms, manga and mandala. Manga, a popular japanese art form brings out in bright color our subconscious, secret desires. Mandala is a another ancient form with roots in hindu that evoke esoteric and spiritual meditation. The combination of the two can not be in better hands than that of artist hiroki otsuka. The show takes place at the Fridman Law Group and is up until November 5th.

Nike´s paying respect to the five boroughs of New York City, so they called on DJ Clark Kent to design a pack of five Air Force 1 Lows, one for each borough of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. Each has similar features — “varsity jacket” wool panels and chenille Swooshes mixed with full-grain leather, metal eyelets, gum rubber outsoles, and borough-specific branding on the laces and heels — and are just made up in different colorways. All five will be released this Saturday, July 31st. If you´re not in NYC they’ll also be available online at nike.com, but you will have to act quick.
