Hiroki Otsuka’s Show—Mangdala

If you´re in NYC or will be there until November 5th you should consider visiting Hiroki Otsuka´s Show “Mangdala”. Hiroki’s show will combine two art forms, manga and mandala. Manga, a popular japanese art form brings out in bright color our subconscious, secret desires. Mandala is a another ancient form with roots in hindu that evoke esoteric and spiritual meditation. The combination of the two can not be in better hands than that of artist hiroki otsuka. The show takes place at the Fridman Law Group and is up until November 5th.

Stüssy x Haze Exhibition @ Known Gallery

Legendary artist and brand Eric Haze and Stussy just recently had an exhibit at the newly opened Known Gallery. Commemorating the US release of the Haze x Stussy capsule collection, the exhibit includes all the original artwork that inspired the collection, video installations, 16″ painted mural, and his custom Pro Keds. If you were there this past Friday you were lucky, if not have a look at these two legendary figures and the newly opened Known Gallery. More pics follow after the jump.
