Vans Vault x Spring 2012 x Sk8-Hi Boat Crepe LX
Im Frühjahr diesen Jahres erscheint, Teil der Vans Vault Kollektion, dieser Sk8-Hi Boat Crepe LX Sneaker/Boot. Er kombiniert die klassische Silhouette des Sk8-Hi mit Elementen eines Boot-Schuhs und einer klassischen Crepe Sohle. Das hochwertige Leder und das Canvas geben dem Schuh, zusammen mit den Lederlaces und den Kontrastnähten einen sehr edlen Touch. Der Sk8-Hi Boat Crepe LX wird in zwei Colorways erhältlich sein. Vans bringt als Teil der Herbst/Winter Kollektion 2012 die “Van Doren” – Kollektion. Benannt nach dem Gründer der Marke und ihrem ehemaligen Namen “Van Doren Rubber Company.” Die ersten Bilder von der Agenda Trade Show, welche gerade in Long Beach, Kalifornien, stattfindet bzw. stattfand, könnt ihr hier sehen. Die Kollektion beinhaltet zwei Sk8-Hi Modelle, drei Era Modelle und ebenso drei Slip-Ons. Das Obermaterial ist mit freshen Vintage Prints versehen und erinnert ein wenig an die 60′er und 70′er Jahre. Here´s a look at the latest collaboration kick made by Vans and Disney based on the movie “Tron: Legacy”. A film-themed Sk8 Hi features black on canvas and acqua blue on leather colorway, with a TRON tag added on the tongue, Disney tag inside the tongue and some unique designs on the upper. Vans is one of those brands who always love to keep it simple, clean, and subtle. Now they released three, two-toned sneakers, all are part of Vans “Stripe” Pack. They will be available in three different colorways such as red, green, and blue. All of them will include a striped upper which is filled in with white. Once again, Vans brings out its best in remaking its own models featuring the Sk8 Hi in Animal Pack. One of these depicts a Cheetah-inspired pony hair blended with Brown suede while the other bears a zebra-themed upper mixed with Black suede. Both color-ups display the “Vans Off The Wall” tag on the tongue with the vintage vulcanized rubber sole and Brown outsole. Follow the jump for many more pics.

Two interesting looking Vans Sk8 Hi’s have been released. Coming in a black/white and pink/blue colorway, every inch of the sneaker features the checker pattern that the brand is so well known for. Even the laces come in matching checker pattern. These are now available at Deepinsideinc.

The masterminds behind last year’s memorable satin SK8-HI pack with Vans, Long Beach’s Proper have cooked up another stellar pack of Vans offerings for the holiday season. In an interview with leading sneaker magazine Sneaker Freaker, Proper’s owner Tristan Caruso shares some insight into the conceptual aspect of this nautical inspired pack which features the Native American (One-piece), Authentic Low and Chukka Del Barco LX, each available in two colorways. For this particular release, Proper has taken extra steps to create a special product including various little details working its way into the pack’s design such as thicker insoles and retro-style boxes. Caruso also weighs in on his thoughts regarding the current sneaker landscape with some interesting points of view in his discussion. Check the interview out over at SneakerFreaker.com.
