Vans – “Van Doren” Kollektion [Preview]

Vans bringt als Teil der Herbst/Winter Kollektion 2012 die “Van Doren” – Kollektion. Benannt nach dem Gründer der Marke und ihrem ehemaligen Namen “Van Doren Rubber Company.” Die ersten Bilder von der Agenda Trade Show, welche gerade in Long Beach, Kalifornien, stattfindet bzw. stattfand, könnt ihr hier sehen. Die Kollektion beinhaltet zwei Sk8-Hi Modelle, drei Era Modelle und ebenso drei Slip-Ons. Das Obermaterial ist mit freshen Vintage Prints versehen und erinnert ein wenig an die 60′er und 70′er Jahre. Limited Edition Jordan 11 “Concord” Holiday Pack

Freitag kommt er: Der wohl am meisten erwartete Sneaker in 2011, der Air Jordan 11 “Concord”. Überall tauchen plötzlich News auf, die den Schuh zum Thema haben. Über das hier gezeigte Pack, welches es wohl nur 23 Mal geben wird, wissen wir aktuell nur das was wir hier schreiben. Ob man das Ding irgendwo kaufen können wird, das wissen wir nicht. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine wertige Holzbox, die sowohl den Air Jordan 11 “Concord” als auch einen “limited edition” Concord Classic Cut Hoodie und ein Schuh-Reinigungstuch enthält. Auf der Box sehen wir einen Sticker mit dem Fingerabdruck von Michael Jordan und der den Zahlen 1/23. Bei 23/23 ist dann schon wieder Ende. Marvel Comics x Stüssy Series One T-Shirts

Stüssy bietet einen besseren Blick auf die erste Reihe der neuen Zusammenarbeit mit dem legendären Marvel-Comics. Series One umfasst neun Entwürfe, darunter einige der kultigsten Superhelden von Marvel mit coolen Grafiken im Stüssy Style vermischt. Series Two wird am 6. Mai erscheinen und aus arbeiten von neun Gastkünstler bestehen, die ihre Lieblings-Charaktere aus dem Marvel-Universum interpretieren haben. Nike Lunarglide 2 Chicago Marathon

This one is not a collaboration between Nike and Chicago Marathon (which took place on October 10th), but it is an exclusive Lunarglide 2 that was especially made for the said event. The kicks feature cool color combination of grey, black and turquoise. And of course “Chicago” is written on the tongue is color red.

Adidas Originals JS Arrow

This one is probably the most creative sneaker Adidas Originals ever came up with. For the Adidas JS Arrow, Jeremy Scott has decided to use a very different concept, which is why not wear a tuxedo on your feet. Basically he has decided to add white on the lace area and the rest with black, along with a black bow tie and black buttons down the center to resemble a tux.

Converse Transparent All Star Ox

This Converse All Star Ox is one of Converse’s unique creations. The sneaker is made with a transparent synthetic upper that reveals the inside part. This transparent upper is accented with white leather piping on top along with the white shoelaces. It reveals the imprinted converse on the insole and will also reveal your feet once you wear this sneaker. This transparent model also has the usual All Star toe cap and white sole with black stripes accents.

Stussy x Basil Wolverton T-Shirts

Furthering their track record of showing respect to the heaviest of heavyweight illustrators, Stussy has lined up a capsule collection of tees with the inimitable design styling of MAD Magazine regular Basil Wolverton. Available on Stussy’s site starting  November 14th, the tees show Wolverton’s uniquely grotesque portraiture. For those unfamiliar with his work, Stussy’s created a featurette to get you up to speed.
