Due for release as part of a China exclusive collection assembled under Hiroshi Fujiwara’s watchful eye, the Nike Sportswear Air Footscape motion merges the familiar Footscape with a cutting-edge ‘motion’ upper. Constructed from material with performance and durability properties similar to Tyvek or ballistic nylon, the upper features the Flywire technology so prevalent in recent Nike Sportswear releases. Tentatively due for release in the coming month the pack will also feature an Air Tennis Classic.

Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin”

We can finally give you a detailed look at the Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin”. The running sneaker celebrates 20 years of Berlin youth culture. The city of Berlin, the event and elements of the occasion are all reflected in the sneaker. The Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin” comes with a black/grey/purple upper, using premium leather, suede and mesh. Contrasting purple stitching is setting some nice accents on the upper, along with the stylized concrete Swoosh. “Berlin 89″ is stitched onto the heel, and is also communicated with the inner sole and the lace-locks. All in all a very well designed sneaker, celebrating this historic event. The Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin” will be released at select Nike Quickstrike retailers on December 4th, coming in a limited edition of 510 pairs. Nike Sportswear LIVESTRONG Installation at Qubic

Working on an ultra-short timeline, Frank Liew and the Qubic crew were able to bang out a great installation on behalf of Nike Sportswear for their LIVESTRONG collection. In addition to showing the obvious products associated with the project, the installation also gave a chance to showcase other aspects of the project including the bicycle and Tour de France components due to Lance Armstrong’s involvement. A profile map of the gruelling Tour de France Stage 20 (Montelimar – Mont Vernoux) as well as a deconstructed yellow bike complete the installation. A cancer-survivor himself, Lance Armstrong has spent a large amount of his time raising funds for cancer awareness and research and with Nike Sportswear on-board, the two parties will see all proceeds from the sales of the collection benefit the LIVESTRONG foundation.
