Adidas ZX 8000 x Star Wars – Emperor

With the Adidas ZX 8000 “Emperor”, Adidas reached the dark side of their Star Wars collection. True to the Emperor’s character, this shoe possesses black nubuck and mesh blend to create up the upper with tan inner liner. The Adidas three stripes appear in teal though Palpatine’s energy is being reminded by the teal energy bolts that race along the midsole. A hint of the identical supply of energy is revealed on the quarter panel to show that evil resides in it. The glow-in-the-dark outsole is an extra exciting feature. Star Wars x Adidas Originals – Spring/Summer 2011

Looks like the new year will start off pretty good for all Star Wars fans out there. The Star Wars x Adidas Originals collaboration will continue in 2011 with some new models.  There’s an Adidas El Dorado modeled after the AT-AT Driver with a helmet-embellished tongue Jeremy Scott would be proud of, a wraparound depiction of the Imperial Planet on the Coruscant hightop and a Bob Marley-meets-Boba Fett lowtop just to name a few. Star Wars x Adidas Originals Jogging Hi “Chewbacca”

Here´s the newest addition to your Adidas Star Wars collection: the Star Wars Adidas Originals Jogging Hi “Chewbacca”! Han Solo’s fuzzy buddy gets his own pair of Adidas in the form of the Jogging Hi, a model originally released in 1982. Shades of brown cover the fan favorite inspired model paired with black laces and a black midsole. Silver eyelets, a ‘Wookie’ debray, and Chewie branding on the tongue top off the fur lined tribute. Star Wars x Adidas Originals Nizza Hi Good

Recently we showed you the Star Wars lineup from Adidas. These shoes have generally gone over pretty well with fans as Star Wars is one of the most popular movies ever and the characters are some of the most recognized characters in the world. Most of the shoes so far have featured colorways that have been inspired by the colorways of the costumes of the different characters. Today though we are going to look at a pair that we think would be what the Wookies would wear if they had a basketball team. This is the new Star Wars x Adidas Originals Nizza Hi Good. It features a predominantly mesh upper that will come in the color blue. This will be accented by yellow on the stripes and in a line that runs around the length of the sole. And to let you know for which team you are playing there´s a “Wookies” writing around the bootleg. You can see some more pics after the jump.

Adidas Originals x Star Wars | Top Ten Low “Droids”

Believe it or not but even Snoop Dog seems to be a Star Wars Fan. First spotted months ago on Snoop Dogg’s feet during an Adidas Originals ad, the Droids version of the Top Ten Low has just been released. The kicks are inspired by C-3PO and R2 D2, the two droids featured in every Star Wars film. Taking a dual design the outer portion of the shoe is inspired by R2 D2 while C-3PO’s copper build inspires the medial side. Check out all of the detailing, which includes action figure-esque packing, after the jump.

Star Wars x Adidas Originals Attitude Hi ‘Jabba the Hutt’

There are already a few Star Wars releases by Adidas, including our great hairy friend Chewbaka. As part of their Fall/Winter Star Wars release, Adidas this time is dropping a “Jabba the Hutt” themed Attitude High. Done up in reptilian green leather, they pay homage to the interstellar gangster with a special tongue tag, dubrays, and logos on the heels. And like their namesake, they have a big, large tongue. adidas Originals x Star Wars – Spring/Summer 2010 – Footwear Collection

George Lucas has been a merchandising genius for quite some time. In his latest, extremely extensive collaborative effort between galactic juggernaut Star Wars and terrestrial brand adidas, we see 13 versions that should make for some exciting convention banter among the Star Wars enthusiasts. Lucasfilm Ltd. and adidas Originals have teamed up to release models that will start releasing in January 2010 in both general and extremely limited releases. Some standout models include the Micropacer model complete with shots from the film (including a light saber battle), a shiny silver upper, and a red white and blue midsole–all representing the more extreme side of the collection.
