Nike Paris Running Club Tees

At the launch of the Nike Running Club Paris, artistic director Leslie David produced a series of limited edition t-shirts. On this occasion, the Paris Running Maps, the club members are using once a week, became a graphical playground for Leslie David. Each map became a visual illustration in a small series of t-shirts and serigraphs. Also, the Canal Saint Martin, the 13th arrondissement or the “Quays de Seine” with its many paths are turned into artwork. The Paris Running Club t-shirts are exclusively available at Nike Stadium Paris. See more pics after the jump.

MARRIED TO THE MOB DOES MEN – OFFICIAL MENSWEAR RELEASE!

For a long time, the ladies of Married to the Mob  were very reluctant to even consider creating t-shirts for men, being such a female-centric brand. Alas, after 6 years of being at the top of the women’s street-wear market, they haven’t been able to ignore the increasing demand for sizes and styles geared towards the other sex. This debut line consists of three different styles in two color-ways and promises the same provocative slogans that made MTTM what it is today, just with a slightly more masculine influence.
They chose rapper Curren$y of J.E.T.S to be their spokes-model for the drop, representing the male equivalent of the “Most Official Bitch” persona – young, hot, rebellious, and confident. Whether you’re a girl looking to get your boyfriend on board the M.O.B lifestyle, or just a dude sick of being left out, look no further, MTTM Mens is here!

IN MEMORY OF DENNIS HOPPER: 1936-2010

Dennis Hopper passed away recently at the age of 74. Originally making a mark in the 50s alongside James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause and Giant, he will always be remembered to me from the various colorful and unforgettable roles he played throughout his life: The photojournalist in Apocalypse Now, Frank Booth in Blue Velvet, the father in Rumble Fish, Clifford Worley in True Romance,  Howard Payne in Speed, and countless others. He also directed the critically acclaimed Colors, and most notably, Easy Rider in 1969 which became the cinematic symbol of the 1960s, and which a film critic once noted that, “No other persona better signifies the lost idealism of the 1960s than that of Dennis Hopper.” Besides acting, Dennis was a prolific photographer, painter, and sculptor, while once known to be one of Hollywood’s most notorious drug addicts for 20 yea rs.
Out now is a portrait tee of Dennis by renowned photographer Guy Webster.
