CoolRain x MINDstyle x NBA Collector Series 1

Korean artist CoolRain teamed up wioth MINDstyle to produce a NBA Collector Toy Series. Featured in the series are Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, Dirk Nowitzki, Brandon Roy and Kevin Garnett. A release is announced for the 1st quarter of 2011. Medicom Toy “Valentine’s Day 2011″ Bearbrick

Medicom Toy x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Bearbrick”

In the past, Medicom Toy already worked toghether with Nike on several famed Nike SB releases. Now they teamed up again for another noteworthy release. This time the Japanese toy maker collaborated with Nike Sportswear on two limited edition Air Force 1s. Constructed entirely from horse hair, both sneakers play on black and white, inverse color schemes and feature references to collectible toys through the  ”@” symbol on the tongue tag and the Bearbrick brand name on the leather-lined insoles. Unless you live in Japan, you’re chances of getting your hands on a pair are slim to none, as a release is scheduled for December 15th, 2010, exclsuively through ISETAN in Shinjuku, Tokyo and BKC Light, neither of who ship internationally. Nevertheless you can see detailed pics of both pairs after the jump.

Merry Green Christmas – Christmas Charity Campaign BEARBRICKS

Christmas is always a good time for charity so MEDICOM TOY and ISETAN will align themselves in a charitable Merry Green Christmas campaign in association with Green Santa, starting December 4th. Focused on bringing to the light the dwindling green spaces around the world and in Japan, the sale of a special collection of BEARBRICKS will result in ¥100 JPY donations towards the planting of new trees. The green, pink and blue BEARBRICKS are priced at ¥300 JPY while the silver one is priced at ¥400 JPY. They will be available at ISETAN stores.

Kidrobot x The Simpsons Mini Series II

Once again Kidrobot and The Simpsons teamed up for an all-new mini figure series. This second series features two alternate versions of your favorite nuclear family and fifteen new characters, including extended family members and lovable barflies. For The Simpsons series 2, Matt Groening infused a new line-up of Springfield’s notable citizens with a Kidrobot flavor, seamlessly expanding The Simpsons and Kidrobot’s worlds. A release is set for Thursday, October 28th, 2010 via Kidrobot.

Just in time for Thanksgiving here´s a closer look on the exotic fruits Be@rbricks in collaboration with Levi’s and Medicom Toys. The collection features four exotic fruits like melon, dragon fruit, pineapple and mangostine. These cute little guys are coming in a set of two sizes, 100% and 400%. Disney x Medicom Toy Mickey Mouse as Mad Hatter

Here´s a little preview on Medicom Toys latest Disney toy from their Vinyl Collectible Dolls (VCD) series. Mickey Mouse is seen here channeling the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp interpretation of the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. This is set to drop in March 2011. Joyrich X Be@rbrick Disney

Bearbrick x Converse Weapon Pack

MediCom Toy Inc. is lending a hand with this Converse Pack that features three variations of the classic Converse Weapon; the Vintage Weapon ‘86 Basic Hi, Weapon SF Hi, and Weapon Mid are featured in this special collection that includes the popular Bearbrick figurines. Each pair will come accompanied by a Bearbrick toy with a matching colorway. The Vintage comes in Magic Johnson’s Lakers colorway with a pre-yellowed midsole, while the SF features a contemporary 3D star upper.
