DC Life “Please Stand By” Pack
Here´s a look at DC Lifes´ upcoming “Please Stand By” Pack. The sneaker takes on a black colorway, along with the words “Please” and “Standby” placed on the outersole. This collection consists of a special edition of the DC Life Admiral SE and Sector 7 SE. Both pairs will consist of leather and suede uppers, while they will sit atop transluscent soles. “The pack was inspired by and came about after a brief reflection of current events and questioning today’s lifestyle. Designers took a look at the evolution of communication and technology – For instance our grandfather read the newspaper, our dad watched the news, and we tweet. Analog is dead… Though the fear is evident, what if the Internet died? Would people be ok and or as patient as past generations were upon being asked to “Please Stand By…”?”

With their Air Force 1 “Hamptons” Nike is showing some Long Island love this summer. “The Hamptons” are the popular vacation destination for the bold and beautiful on the East End of Long Island. This limited sneaker features a white leather upper along with a perforated middle sole and Hamptons logo on the tongue. The translucent outsole reveals a map of the area.
