G-SHOCK : DW-6900 mit Bluetooth 4.0

G-SHOCK hatte ja bereits im Frühling 2011 angekündigt, dass es “bald” G-SHOCK Modelle mit Bluetooth Verbindung zum Smartphone geben werde. Die Uhren mit Bluetooth 4.0 kommen nun aber erst Mitte März (in Japan) auf den Markt. Grund für die Verschiebung soll die Flutkatastrophe in Thailand gewesen sein, die auch die Entwicklung anderer Technologien stark verlangsamte. Die Uhr bietet eine automatische Uhrensynrchonisation mit Eurem Smartphone und bietet Euch die Möglichkeit SMS zu checken und Anrufe entgegenzunehmen. Nur das kleine Display der Uhr mag diese Funktionen etwas einschränken. Eine Nachfrage bei G-SHOCK ergab, dass man die Markteinführung in Deutschland nocht nicht geplant habe. Dennoch ist davon auszugehen, dass die Bluetooth G-SHOCKS mit allen gängigen Telefonen funktionieren werden – egal wo sie auf den Markt kommen. Nettes Feature finden wir. Casio G-Shock G-8900A Neue Release

Casio G-Shock stellt fünf neue Farbevariaten ihres langjährigen 8900-Modells vor. Die neueste Version hat ein aktualisiertes Design, die Uhrzeitanzeige hat eine zusätzliche Aluminium-Lünette bekommen. Wie die Vorgänger hat die8900A einige Features vorzuweisen wie 200-Meter-Wasser-und stoßfest, LED Super-Illuminator Hintergrundbeleuchtung, Flash-Alarm, multi-city Zeit und Weltzeit. Die Harz-und Aluminium-Struktur beherbergt eine beeindruckende dauerhaften Fünf-Jahres-Batterie. Die neue 8900A aus dem Hause Casio kommt im November 2011 in die Läden. Nooka Spring 2011 Collection

For their spring collection, Nooka has experimented with the process of cross-breeding. After much analysis, they have chosen their best selling colors in hopes of creating their first hybrid Zub and Mercury line. The new collection features a combination of both parent colors to produce unexpected results.

In addition to the new spring colors, Nooka has released a new version of the Nooka AO, which is significantly wider than its predecessor. The enlarged dimensions allow the user to store cash via one simple fold, while still making it pocket friendly. The new piece also features a more sophisticated closure that no longer uses a strap. The new containers will feature a hood that tucks into part of the wallet for more security and durability. The new AO also comes with a removable insert, thus providing even more storage space. Jordan Brand X Casio G-Shock Watch Collection

Here´s another collaboration Jordan Brand made in commemoration of this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend. They joined forces with Casio to create a small collection of G-Shocks, including three limited edition watch models: an electric blue with subtle royal blue details DW6900CB-2, fire engine red paired with black and orange contrasts DW6900CB-4 and stealth black on black GD100B-1. Each timepiece is emblazoned with the iconic Jordan Jumpman logo. Performance features include shock resistance, water resistance to an incredible 200 meters, flash alert, multi-function alarm, countdown timer, 1/100 second stopwatch and 12/24 hour formats. Nooka Yogurt

Nooka is excited to introduce “Yogurt”, Nooka’s first circular design. It will utilize soft and flexible polyurethane, making it similar to the Nooka ZUB line of watches. The display incorporates digital hexagons that comprise the hour in the middle while the minutes circle the outer display of the watch. Casio G-Shock – January 2011 | New Releases

For 2011 Casio G-Shock comes up with 2 models in 6 different color shades. The most noticeable is the GA-110. Large with substantial amount of heft in comparison with other G-Shock, the GA-110 is now one of the most popular timepieces in Casio’s timepiece line. Its popularity stems from its gears-like working dial face, a hint of traditional working watches though this one is all digital at its heart.
Second model of the 2011 Spring releases is the GD-100. Sharing much of its innards, with the exception of its LCD dial face, the GD-100 is less conspicuous than its larger counterpart. Though, if you’re looking for some attention, the purple GD-100SC-6JF or all white GD-100SC-7JF can help you outshine most of the competitions. Of course, both models are resistance to anything and everything, even strong magnetic fields. Nooka x Collaborations 2011

Nooka has teamed up with a variety of companies and artists, ranging from MTV to Nickelodeon, to create unique time-pieces. MTV’s Retro-Pop themed watch features a white headphone graphic on a black polyurethane band, while their Carnival timepiece utilizes a playful and exciting theme with their vibrant purple and orange colors. Each unique pattern is displayed on a Nooka Zub 38mm watch. These collaborations are limited editions, so get them while they last.

Dickies x Casio G-Shock – DW-6900FS

Two brands that are real experts in toughness and durability have teamed up to create a new masterpiece. For their collaboration Casio G-Shock and Dickies chose the DW-6900 model to wear the corporate colors of Dickies with a red casing and wrist band. On the dial, the face is two toned in blue and yellow with red Dickies logo on the top and the EL back lighting shows off the Dickies horse shoe logo as well. Yellow stars represent the American heritage and are randomly printed on the wrist band. Lastly the watch is packaged in a custom made quilted cotton pouch with a draw string on top.
