If there is a word to describe the attitude of 55DSL, it is „fun“. After their foundation in 1994 as an experimental spin-off of Diesel, the brand soon established their own gushing identity. Originally the line was inspired by extreme sports – snow, surf and skate – and these stayed deep-seated in their DNA. When growing, the brand adopted the fusion between sports and Urban culture which is the basis of today´s Street style. Over the years they supported surfers like Joel Tudor, skaters like Tony Hawk and Steve Berra and snowboarders like Lukas Huffman. Thanks to this heritage 55DSL clothes are styled to resist the roughest elements while concurrently staying amazingly aesthetic.
